If you are going for a full roof clean the price includes the following;

• Drone roof inspection by a Civil Aviation Authority registered drone pilot, subject to weather and flight restrictions. Otherwise photos are taken from the scaffold tower itself.
• Downpipes blocked off.
• Excess moss scraped off if needed.
• Low pressure super heated steam.
• The roof is then treated with Algoclear Pro Biocide which will kill remaining spores and give protection from regrowth for upto 5 years and also continue cleaning the roof for a few months.
• Gutters emptied.
• Exterior of facias, soffits and gutters washed.

The moss and other detritus that we remove has to go somewhere, and there is a genuine risk that a high percentage of this could get pushed into the downpipes, causing a blockage. We do not want this to happen, so the first part of our cleaning process is to remove the downpipes. If we cannot do this for whatever reason, then we block the downpipe so that it is impossible for any moss or other materials to enter the drainage system. Upon completion of the work, we reattach the downpipe or remove our block, so your drains work properly once again.

In most cases, your roof will remain moss free for a minimum of 3 years from the completion of the work. However, this will vary slightly depending on your location. If you live in an area surrounded by trees, this will increase the likelihood of the moss returning slightly quicker, as the atmosphere and conditions are conducive to moss growth.
